Searching for a progressive voice that could inspire me in the age of Obama disillusionment,  I’ve discovered the words and activities of Rev. William Barber, President of NAACP in North Carolina.  He is leading “Moral Mondays” in North Carolina protesting against the policies of Republican super majorities in the North Carolina state government, a state government largely bought by financier Art Pope.

Barber is leader in the MLK, Jr. mold, and tremendously compelling to my ear and heart.  He talks about justice from a moral, biblical, and political perspective.  He’s one to watch.
